6:1 「来，我们回到上主那里去，因为衪撕碎了我们，也必要治愈；衪打伤了我们，也必要包扎。
In their affliction, they shall look for me: "Come, let us return to the LORD, For it is he who has rent, but he will heal us; he has struck us, but he will bind our wounds.
6:2 两天后衪必使我们复生，第三天衪必使我们兴起，生活在衪的慈颜下。
He will revive us after two days; on the third day he will raise us up, to live in his presence.
6:3 让我们认识上主，让我们努力认识上主!衪定要像曙光一样出现，衪要来到我们中间，有如秋雨，有如滋润田地的春雨。」
Let us know, let us strive to know the LORD; as certain as the dawn is his coming, and his judgment shines forth like the light of day! He will come to us like the rain, like spring rain that waters the earth."
6:4 厄弗辣因，我可对你们作什么﹖犹大，我可对你作什么？因为你们的仁爱有如旱晨的浮云，有如易于消散的朝露。
What can I do with you, Ephraim? What can I do with you, Judah? Your piety is like a morning cloud, like the dew that early passes away.
6:5 因此，我借先知们砍伐了他们，以我口中的言语杀死戳了他们；我的的裁判出现有如光明：
For this reason I smote them through the prophets, I slew them by the words of my mouth;
6:6 因为我喜欢仁爱胜过祭献，喜欢人认识天主胜过全燔祭。
For it is love that I desire, not sacrifice, and knowledge of God rather than holocausts.
6:7 但是他们在阿当就违犯了盟约，在那里已背叛了我。
But they, in their land, violated the covenant; there they were untrue to me.
6:8 基肋阿得是座作恶者的城池，满了血迹。
Gilead is a city of evildoers, tracked with blood.
6:9 一队司祭就如埋伏的强盗，在往舍根的路上行凶；的确，他们行了可耻的事
As brigands ambush a man, a band of priests slay on the way to Shechem, committing monstrous crime.
6:10 在贝特耳我见了可恶的事：在那里厄弗辣因行了淫，以色列玷污了自己
In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing: there harlotry is found in Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
6:11 当我转变我百姓的命运时，犹大啊!为你也注定了一个收割期。
For you also, O Judah, a harvest has been appointed.
