47:1 For the leader. A psalm of the Korahites.I

47:2 All you peoples, clap your hands; shout to God with joyful cries.

47:3 For the LORD, the Most High, inspires awe, the great king overall the earth,

47:4 Who made people subject to us, brought nations under our feet,

47:5 Who chose a land for our heritage, the glory of Jacob, the beloved. SelahII

47:6 God mounts the throne amid shouts of joy; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts.

47:7 Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise.III

47:8 God is king over all the earth; sing hymns of praise.

47:9 God rules over the nations; God sits upon his holy throne.

47:10 The princes of the peoples assemble with the people of the God of Abraham.For the rulers of the earth belong to God, who is enthroned on high.
