70:1 For the leader; of David. For remembrance.

70:2 Graciously rescue me, God! Come quickly to help me, LORD!

70:3 Confound and put to shame those who seek my life. Turn back in disgrace thosewho desire my ruin.

70:4 Let those who say "Aha!" turn back in their shame.

70:5 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. May those who long foryour help always say, "God be glorified!"

70:6 Here I am, afflicted and poor. God, come quickly! You are my help anddeliverer. LORD, do not delay!
